Black Vintage Sideboard, Gold Poppy Design, Vintage TV Media Unit, Low Rise Schreiber Sideboard
Striking Upcycled Mid-Century Schreiber sideboard. the entire unit has been fully refinished inside and out. Decoupaged in a now discontinued Cole & Son Poppy wallpaper in the Ochre colour-way. The design is taken from a genuine late 19th Century Art Nouveau design. Deep yellow ochre background with dark charcoal grey foliage and of white flowers, all outlined in subtle metallic gold, offset against the new solid brass textured knobs. New solid brass legs have also been fitted to create a luxurious, contemporary look.
The top, back and base have been painted a charcoal black, to complement the darker hues within the paper design.
Versatile for use as a TV media station, or storage sideboard. With 3 generous drawers, in excellent smooth running condition. The top cutlery drawer, has been lined in a textured black/charcoal hardwearing paper to complement the black design throughout.
Two compact cupboard spaces flank the middle 3 drawer section, each with an internal fitted shelf. Perfect for homing and array of treasures, or items that need to be tucked away from sight.
As a vintage piece of furniture, the history of previous homes and lives add character and charm to an item of this age. All our creations are expertly refinished/restored to an exceptionally high standard. Some minor imperfections may still be present which is in-keeping of the age of the item. Any small imperfections are embraced and do not reflect or detract on the quality and beauty of the end restoration. With all our work, any questions are warmly welcomed.
